It is intended to highlight and make visible the work being done to strengthen organic values in food production and communication in and from the region. Organic food in focus

The award is intended to put the spotlight on organic food and honor a person, organization or enterprise that has made a special effort to promote the production, sale or consumption of organic food in and/or from the region.

The County Governors of Nordland, Troms and Finnmark collaborate on the award, which may be presented annually.

For Trasti & Trine, this became an important moment when our work was noticed and brought to light. Through a holistic commitment to local produce, short supply chains and sustainable solutions, we have helped showcase the value of organic and natural products from the north. Our approach combines culinary experiences, hospitality and nature in a way that increases understanding of how food can be created in harmony with its surroundings.
