Experience the Arctic summer as it was meant to be experienced. With bright nights, local flavours and the calm that only Finnmark can offer. This stay gives you a taste of life in the north, where the midnight sun frames memorable meals, nature experiences and warm encounters. Unwind, enjoy the moment, and let us welcome you home.
Finnmark is the land of contrasts. The landscape that six months ago was filled with short, dark days is now bathed in endless summer light. On evenings like these it's hard to go to bed — both body and mind thrive best outdoors. Spend one of these evenings on a trip with us?
You never feel nature so close as when you sleep in a tent or under the open sky. Food never tastes better than around a campfire after a long day out. Midnight sun or raindrops on the tent fly, contented dogs curling up in the heather, fish rising in small mountain lakes. Will you join us?
We are lucky to have fantastic nature right outside our kennel. And it's beautiful year-round. The smell of warm forest floor and tempting clear river water on a fine summer day. A fire and hot coffee on a grey, chilly day. Crackling autumn colours, sharp air and red-on-red across the lingonberry heather. Come along for a trip!
Experience the unique feeling of Husky carting in Alta's snow-free months. Here you meet the dogs' power, energy and joy on wheels, where teamwork and speed create a very special experience. You become part of the team as we drive through the open landscape and feel how the dogs work together with you in perfect rhythm. This is dryland mushing at its best! Real, active and full of life. Will you join us?
Imagine you've been alive for only a few weeks or months. Everything is new and exciting. Everywhere there are new smells, new challenges and new experiences. Imagine you also have a large litter of siblings who are just as curious and energetic as you are.
We offer different packages for different seasons. See if you can find exactly what you’d like to join. If anything is missing, write to us at booking@trastiogtrine.no - we can also tailor your next trip to the Arctic בדיוק for you.
With us, the dogs are the true heroes and athletes. There are no compromises when working with animals. In addition to taking our guests out on trips, we train our dogs for long-distance races. Guests who visit us should always meet dogs that are happy, content and well trained. We want to share our respect, humility and love for the dogs and the nature experiences with you.
