Trasti & Trine is a place shaped by time, people and ideas that have been allowed to grow naturally over the years. Everything you see around you bears traces of our journey, from small thoughts and dreams to the place it is today. Each room, each building and every detail is part of the story of how our home has continually evolved.

The Jobbhjerte Award

We are incredibly proud and grateful to have received the Jobbhjerte Award 2024 for our work on inclusive employment.

The award was presented during Business Day in Alta and is given to companies that go the extra mile to include and support people in the workforce.

Over the years we have had the pleasure of offering meaningful opportunities, safe surroundings and genuine work experience to jobseekers in collaboration with Aksis. We believe in — and want to show — that there is a place for everyone in the workforce, with tasks and roles where people can contribute, develop and grow.

A big thank you to Aksis for the recognition, and to the jobseeker who stood on stage with us during the presentation. It means so much to us.

Hanna competed in the Iditarod

The Forkprint Foundation

The year the Forkprint Foundation was established.

She pursued this and achieved a lot: Hanna traveled to Alaska to compete in the Iditarod for the second time in her life. There she even won the title.

I have worked as a chef my whole life, and since 2005 I have had the pleasure of creating food based on local ingredients from Finnmark. Through food experiences, courses and dinners at Trasti & Trine I want to share the flavours, stories and traditions from the north with you.
