Book dog activity
With a dog and a pack in the mountains
The tour starts at the kennel, where you'll meet our curious huskies. We select the dog or dogs that will join us on the hike.
With a little guidance you can put the pack and harness on the dog yourself, and then we're ready to go.
The destination of the hike is Pæskanasen, a small mountain peak located about a 1.5-hour walk from the kennel. Some sections are quite steep, but we take our time and stop several times. If desired, our four-legged hiking companions can provide a bit of extra pulling power.
Tonight’s guide can talk about Finnmark, the area we are traveling through, and stories about what it is like to train and compete with huskies. As we gain elevation, we get a lovely view and can look out over Storelvdalen.

Two ways to experience the adventure
We offer both public and private tours. On our public tours there will be up to twelve guests, and you'll have the opportunity to meet other adventurers from around the world. For private tours you book all the spots, whether you travel alone or with friends and family. A guide will be at your disposal, and everything will be tailored to your wishes — flexible regarding start and end point as well as the activity's duration.
