Are you curious about how it's done? Or how everything fits together?

You might think we're a little crazy for entering dog sled races that are 1,600 km long, or that we have 80 dogs and know each one and what they like best. The dogs are central to everything we do here at Trasti & Trine, especially on this experience tour.

Get a unique insight into the world of mushers — from training to the Finnmarksløpet and the Iditarod. You'll feel it and experience the bond with the dogs — across many miles on the sled trails in winter or on the trail with a pack in summer. Good food, good friends and new knowledge come as part of the package, through great conversations and exciting new places to discover.

Your experience — this is what it might look like

On arrival you check in at our boutique hotel and have time to settle in. In the evening we invite you to an inspiring talk by a sled-dog musher, where we share stories, photos and experiences from some of the world's longest and most demanding sled dog races. Afterwards a tasty 3-course country-style dinner is served in the restaurant.

The next day begins with a hearty breakfast before you set out on a full-day tour with the dogs through the Arctic winter landscape. Along the way both two- and four-legged companions enjoy a delicious lunch outdoors. After a rewarding day you return to the hotel, where a cheese platter with carefully selected accompaniments awaits. The evening concludes with an exclusive 5-course fine-dining experience in the restaurant — the perfect ending to a day filled with adventure and memories.
