The dogs are the heart of everything we do. We always put their welfare first and want to share the joy of activities with our dogs, the nature and life in the north with our guests.
I have worked as a chef my whole life, and since 2005 I have had the pleasure of creating food based on local ingredients from Finnmark. Through food experiences, courses and dinners at Trasti & Trine I want to share the flavours, stories and traditions from the north with you.

In Elva you stay in a small fishing oasis, surrounded by forest, silence and nature. The cabin is cozy and unique, spread over two floors, offering a calm and intimate experience of life in the north.
In Gaisa you’ll meet warm natural materials, calm tones and details inspired by Sami culture and the northern landscape. Large windows draw nature close, while the snug atmosphere creates a sense of peace, closeness and a quiet stay in the middle of the forest.
In our new cabins you stay in the forest, enjoy treetop views and the feeling of sleeping outdoors! The cabins are cozy and unique, with two floors and views of the surrounding nature.
At Radderud you stay sheltered and peaceful, surrounded by forest and silence. The room is warm and homely, with large windows that frame the landscape and give you the feeling of being completely alone in the scenery. It’s simple, calm and intimate—a place to lower your shoulders and just be present in the moment.
In the middle of the farmyard, right by the dog kennels, you’ll find a cozy building in traditional Norwegian cabin style, surrounded by life and nature. Here you stay simply and homely with a wood-burning stove and close proximity to everything happening on the farm—a place for calm, community and genuine farm life.
In the guesthouse we have, among other things, a large production and training kitchen, a cozy restaurant in a warm, rural style with a wine cellar. On the second floor there is a pleasant accommodation area with two large rooms with double beds and a convertible sofa bed, each with its own separate bathroom.
At the heart of the farmyard stands the main house, where food and experiences come together on the ground floor with both a restaurant and a kitchen. Above this you’ll find two spacious and comfortable rooms, each placed at one end of the building, providing a warm and peaceful setting for overnight stays.
A relationship with nature, with people and with the place we are part of, shaped by choices made over time, in the rhythm of work and in encounters with real consequences. Forkprint is our way of putting into words how we run the business, how we take responsibility for the consequences of what we do, and how we seek to give something back to the whole we are part of.
