A night in one of our rooms, a dinner inspired by the ingredients of Finnmark, and the midnight sun shining over you.
We begin the evening in the Alaska Bar, where you can enjoy your favourite music from our record player. After that we serve our Finnmark menu in the restaurant, created with local ingredients: wild game from the area, vegetables from our own garden, berries from the surrounding countryside and fish from the sea. Simple and honest flavours from Northern Norway.
After dinner you might be ready for a walk along the Alta River, or perhaps you prefer to return to the bar and enjoy the bright summer nights. Both are equally tempting.
The morning after you'll be welcomed to breakfast by one of the owners or one of our lovely breakfast hosts. Here you'll find local products, freshly baked goods and fine flavours from the north, while the fireplace crackles in the background.

If leaving feels a little too difficult, we will do our best to offer you an extra night with us. You can also join a guided husky walk to some of the area's most beautiful viewpoints. Or perhaps both?
