Arctic Days with Trasti & Trine
A stay shaped by experiences, where nature, food, and time spent with our Alaskan huskies are at the center.
Spend two nights surrounded by the snow-covered landscapes of Northern Norway, join our Taste of dogsledding, and experience the flavors of Finnmark through a kitchen inspired by local ingredients and the season. Upon arrival, a welcome tray with local tastes awaits you in your room. In the evening, we invite you to our Country Style menu in the restaurant, a warm start to your stay.
The next day you meet our Alaskan huskies and join an unforgettable dog sledding trip through Finnmark’s beautiful winter landscape. After the trip, you can relax in the sauna and let the warmth sink in after a day out in nature. When evening falls, we invite you to our five-course Finnmark menu, prepared with local ingredients, vegetables from our own garden, wild berries, and fish from the sea.
Whether you spend the evening chasing the northern lights, relaxing in Alaska Bar to music from our LP collection, or enjoying the silence of the Arctic winter, each evening offers a new way to experience Alta. Both mornings begin with breakfast in the restaurant, where local specialties and homemade treats are served by the fireplace.
