Trasti & Trine Boutique Hotel

Welcome to high standard unique rooms, in cabins, in the guesthouse or in a fishing farm! This is a good place to stay, sleep and eat! Perhaps you will awake to the sound of the rooster crowing, laughs and chats from the kitchen when breakfast is in the making or the puppies racing around in the dog yard. Maybe you will smell freshly brewed coffee or, if you’re lucky, something is already baking in the stone oven in the bakery. And, the children can run straight outside and start the day's adventure early.
We live in the forest, 10 km from Alta City and 500 m from the Alta River. There are good trails straight from the cottage door, for hiking, biking and skiing. We have a dog yard with 60 Alaska huskies, not fare from the lodge. You are warmly welcomed into the kennel and in the summer we have puppies that will be very happy for some extra attention. This is the perfect accommodation for those who want something else than an ordinary hotel bed. Here you will find an inventive atmosphere, but also peace and quiet in the evenings. We have a lot of rooms for children to play outside. We are also a company that is certified by Norwegian eco tourism standards - Norsk Økoturisme. Welcome to our home.

Do you want to stay somewhere out of the ordinary, in the forest out of the centre but still central?  Our new rooms have high standard both outside and inside. With the greatest view, upwards to heaven and into the forest you are so close to the nature that it almost feels like sleeping outside. All the rooms are unique and decorated with interior from the local area and region.

Radderud is a unique wooden built house over 2 floors with windows from the floor to the ceiling. The entrance hall leads through to a small kitchen bench with sink and kettle, one bathroom with shower and toilet and two double bedrooms. Upstairs on the second floor there is a cosy living room with a seating area and sofa which can made up into a comfortable double bed.

It`s also possible to order dinner, the menu has to be ordered in advance.

Elva, Alaska, Kjøkkenhagen and Gáisá
are one bedroom cabin with two separate accomodation units in one building. The entrance hall leads through to a small kitchen bench with sink and kettle, one bathroom with shower and toilet and one bedroom with a double bed that can turn out to two separate beds. Upstairs in the second floor there is a cosy “loft” living room with a seating area. Here is a sofa which can be made up into a comfortable single bed.

Guesthouse

Our guesthouse is situated in the heart of our yard.  The rooms are situated the main house, here you`ll also our restaurant dining room, with a small cocktail bar and a wine cellar and the main kitchen. It will be here our delicious homemade organic breakfast will be served.

On the second floor you will find our guesthouse accommodation, two spacious family double rooms. Both with a sofa bed in each and own bathrooms. There is a cosy shared living space with a balcony that looks over our yard. We serve a homemade organic breakfast. It is also possible to order dinner.

Cabin

Hytta, our cosy cabin, is in the middle of the farmyard right beside the dog yard. It’s usually full of activity here during the daytime, but in the calm of the evening the silence is only broken by the rustle from the wind in the pine forest or the occasional howl from the dog yard.
This is a nice place to stay for everybody and especially families.

This is the perfect accommodation for those who want something other than an ordinary hotel bed. The ground floor consists of a double and a single bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and a living room with a wood-fired stove and seating area while upstairs there is a further double room and a twin room.

Rent the whole cabin: 3.500 NOK per night

Total capasity: 6 persons (adults), 4 bedrooms in total, 2 single beds, 2 double beds.

Breakfast: Homemade organic breakfast, extra cost 150 NOK/pp/night.
