We welcome you in the yard at Gamma and the outdoor kitchen. While you get something to eat, we tell you about food and food traditions in Finnmark. Then we start the planning of todays meal. The choice of menu and ingredients will vary throughout the season, but there will be tastes from the smoke oven, bread / pastries from the oven, different preparation of game or fish and today’s dessert. You yourself are actively involved in the whole process until the finished meal, and we are happy to share my knowledge and experiences with you.

Two-day game cooking course
Hunting course over two days. Food course with preparation and processing of game. We take into account the basics of partitioning. Based on the game and the items we have, we put together and prepare the first night and the large menu last night. The first evening we make a three-course dinner. We end the course by serving and eating a five-course dinner with game from Finnmark.

We go through theory and thoughts on the topic, menu language and ideas. The menu is to be set and tasks and “mice in place” are to be prepared. We make a three-course evening menu. We’re preparing for tomorrow. It is possible to invite guests to dinner.
